Speaking of Ben-Hur, here’s a fantastic piece of trivia that truly showcases Heston’s dedication! For the legendary 9-minute chariot race, one of the most exciting action scenes ever filmed, Charlton Heston refused to rely on stunt doubles for the dangerous driving.
